How a stand comes together

Five choices, one stand that's all theirs

Every Barksmith Co. stand starts as real poplar wood and two metal bowls. Here is what you decide.

    Pick a height

    5, 9, 11.5 or 18 inches. A golden retriever comfortably fits the 11.5 inch stand.

  2. 02

    Choose the base paint

    White, Blue or Perfect Greige, with a soft distressed look for extra charm.

  3. 03

    Choose the top stain

    Dark Walnut, Early American or Classic Grey wood tones.

  4. 04

    Add their name

    White or blue wood letters on a regular or dog bone nameplate, stained to match the top.

  5. 05

    Add any extras

    A wood backsplash, the short-leg version for small dogs, or hand-painted custom art.

The nameplate

Their name, spelled out in wood letters

Each letter of your dog's name is cut out of wood and glued onto a nameplate on the front of the stand. Choose a classic regular plate or a dog bone shape, with letters in white or blue.

The plate is stained to match the top you pick, so the front ties the whole stand together.

Messy drinker? Add a backsplash

A wood backsplash sits behind the bowls to stop splashes and spills before they reach your wall. It is stained to match the top, like Winston's Classic Grey stand here.

It is totally optional, and you can add it to any height.
