The stand
What are Barksmith Co. dog bowl stands made of?
Each Barksmith Co. stand is built from real poplar wood. The base is painted and the top is stained, and two metal bowls are included with every stand.
Are the dog bowls included?
Yes. Every Barksmith Co. stand comes with two metal bowls, already included in the price.
What is the backsplash for?
The optional wood backsplash sits behind the bowls to stop splashes and spills from reaching your wall. It is totally optional and is stained to match the top.
Sizing
What heights do the stands come in?
Barksmith Co. stands come in four heights: 5 inches, 9 inches, 11.5 inches and 18 inches.
Which height is right for my dog?
For reference, a golden retriever comfortably fits the 11.5 inch stand. If you are not sure, tell us about your dog when you send your order request and we can help you choose.
Do you make a stand for small dogs?
Yes. Barksmith Co. makes a short-leg version, great for small dogs who need their bowls lower to the floor.
Colors and names
What base colors can I choose?
The base can be painted White, Blue or Perfect Greige, with a soft distressed look for extra charm.
What stain colors are available for the top?
The top is stained in Dark Walnut, Early American or Classic Grey wood tones.
How is my dog’s name put on the stand?
Your dog’s name is spelled out in wood letters that are cut out and glued onto a nameplate on the front of the stand. The nameplate is stained to match your top color.
What nameplate and letter options are there?
You can choose a regular nameplate or a dog bone shaped nameplate, with letters in white or blue.
Can you paint custom art on the stand?
Yes. Barksmith Co. can add hand-painted custom art anywhere on the stand, such as paw prints, your dog’s breed, a favorite sports team or comic book characters. If you can dream it, we can paint it.
Pricing and ordering
How much does a custom dog bowl stand cost?
Barksmith Co. stands start at $150. The final cost is based on your choices, and custom art designs cost more depending on the design.

Yes. Barksmith Co. offers local delivery.
